ELEPHANTS STILL BEING POACHED FOR THEIR IVORY:

"Entire families of elephants are being slaughtered.

Too many elephants are still being killed – and without all our efforts, so many more could be wiped out in another round of poaching. Our teams in the field are depending on your support and every contribution makes a difference:
  • A pair of sturdy boots for an ecoguard costs $35; a uniform, about $50.
  • Keeping an ecoguard in the field for a month costs $200.
  • GPS units to enable ecoguards to patrol effectively to find poachers cost $300 each.
Help us reach our $120,000 goal by December 31 and fund our efforts to protect elephants."
Make a tax-deductible donation today and your gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000.

Today:

Jay and I worked on the cargo trailer in readiness for the paneling.

The cable hatch wasn't secured except through the metal siding, so we added a backer board:

Water-hook-up

Then we added a city water hook-up.

I already have a 10 gallon water tank, so we have to figure out where to install that, before we can add the outside tank filler.

Great working outside, as it wasn't so chilly today.
