5 Traits Women Should Look for in a Godly Man

“A godly marriage requires a godly man and a godly woman. What are the essential traits a woman should look for in a man she would consider dating or marrying? 

Today most stores employ surveillance cameras. It’s common to see a camera mounted in the corner or the ominous black half-spheres embedded in the ceiling. Whether or not the cameras are on and recording, they are designed to make the general public a little more careful, knowing someone may be watching. But, of course, security cameras still often catch people doing all sorts of illegal things.

These cameras reveal something we know already: People’s character is revealed by what they do when they think no one’s looking. That’s not a new concept. Thomas Macaulay (1800-1859) once wrote, “The measure of man’s real character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.”

If you are a single woman and are looking for a godly man to date and possibly marry, what should you look for? How do you measure a godly man’s character?

If you are a man who desires to faithfully follow God, what aspects of your character should you work to develop?

Let’s look at five basic character traits of a godly man.

1. Whom does he follow?

An important consideration is to look at those who have influenced his life. Is Jesus Christ the primary influencer in his life? A godly man will make it his highest priority to follow the example of Christ (John 10:27; 1 Corinthians 11:1). Whether he does so will become evident as you observe his daily conduct. No matter his cultural background, his level of education or his depth of experiences—if he follows Jesus Christ first, you will recognize it.

What about the people who have influenced him? This may include his father or grandfather, a mentor at school or work or even his buddies. Any of those influences can be positive or negative. But once you understand who those influences are, evaluate the character of these people and how they have rubbed off on him. The apostle Paul wrote, “Evil company corrupts good habits” (1 Corinthians 15:33).

2. Is he humble?

Sometimes, humility is (incorrectly) viewed as a mind-set of weakness and self-loathing. But that is neither a biblical nor a healthy frame of mind. True humility is a strength, not a weakness (Philippians 2:3-4).

Proper humility is an important element in the heart of a man who will build and nurture strong and positive relationships. It means he’s willing to listen and not arrogantly step on the feelings of others. Peter admonishes us to “be clothed with humility, for ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble’” (1 Peter 5:5).

You see, a humble man will be a good husband because he will forgive more easily, will be more patient and will work toward being a peacemaker.

3. What does his communication say about his character?

Is he careful with the type of language he uses? Profanity and taking God’s name in vain are all too common today. Rather than allow dirty language to infiltrate his own speech, a godly man will be careful with his words and follow the biblical advice to “let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth” (Ephesians 4:29).

A rather easy measure of a man’s words is to take note of how he speaks to his mother, to children or to someone he doesn’t even know (like a waiter or waitress at a restaurant). Solomon noted that a soft answer can turn away wrath (Proverbs 15:1), and also that the right words at the right time are like valuable artwork of silver and gold (Proverbs 25:11). Does he show appreciation, or is he sharp and critical, viewing other people as existing only to serve him?

Or does he have no words for them at all, simply ignoring them? Walt Bettinger, the CEO of Charles Schwab, related one of the most stinging experiences in his life. He had maintained a 4.0 GPA in college and wanted to graduate with a perfect GPA. The final exam for a business strategy course was a blank piece of paper. The professor said he had taught them everything he could about business, so he only had one more question: What is the name of the lady who cleans this building?

Mr. Bettinger said that was the only test he ever failed. He had seen her, but never taken the time to speak to her or find out who she was. He learned the lesson to always get to know the people who can seem insignificant to us.

4. Is he generous?

Generosity is not necessarily tied to how wealthy someone is. Some of the most generous people I’ve known have been those who have the least, but who willingly share what they have with others. I once knew a widow who didn’t have a great deal, but she always told visitors if there was anything she had that they needed, just say so and it was theirs. Her offer was genuine!

But generosity is far more than just money and possessions. A godly man needs to be generous with his time as well as with his praise and encouragement. Is he willing to give the time and effort to help where there is a need?

5. Does he get angry easily and frequently?

Another thing to watch for is how he handles frustration or difficult situations. Does he have a temper? It is difficult to overestimate the damage caused when we lose our temper. Feelings can be hurt, relationships destroyed, property damaged—all due to uncontrolled temper. Solomon warned, “Make no friendship with an angry man, and with a furious man do not go” (Proverbs 22:24).

A godly man works to maintain control of his emotions and applies the wisdom written by James: “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” (James 1:19).

Of course, a woman who wants to marry a godly man must be developing godly character herself—becoming a Proverbs 31 woman.

And if a man wants to marry such a woman, then he needs to become a Proverbs 31 man. Unthankful to Our Creator

Romans 1:21

“Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

In the early chapters of Romans, Paul shows the sinfulness of all men, gentiles and Jews. This verse follows the powerful statement that “His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (verse 20). God’s creation itself is proof that God exists, so even those without any biblical background are without excuse.

But the gentiles of Paul’s day put God out of their minds and didn’t give Him glory or show Him thanks. Many people today follow this same poor example. Ingratitude is a hallmark of human nature and especially of this end-time perilous age (as Paul mentions in 2 Timothy 3:2).

Psalm 100, “a Psalm of Thanksgiving,” provides the cure for this common ailment. “Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves. … Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. In Everything Give Thanks

1 Thessalonians 5:18

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

This week on the Daily Bible Verse Blog we have been looking at the importance of thanksgiving. Thankfulness is a hallmark of a true Christian. Almost anyone can be thankful when everything is going well, but Christians are to be growing in an attitude of thanksgiving in every situation.

This takes a spiritual perspective—the ability to see things more as God sees them. Though not everything that happens is something to be thankful for, a Christian is learning to see beyond the present suffering and to thank God for His eternal goodness and the end result of His great purpose and plan. This allows us to give thanks in everything.

When we truly believe that “all things work together for good” (Romans 8:28) and that “the testing of [our] faith produces patience” that makes us “perfect and complete,” we can “count it all joy” (James 1:2-4) and give thanks even when we face various trials.

An Old Testament example of this was when Job lost his money, his children and his health. He blessed the name of God in spite of his personal tragedies, not because of them. Nothing speaks more powerfully of a walk with God than continuous thankfulness” (The NKJV Study Bible, note on 1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Why is it God’s will that we give thanks? Because it helps us to become more like God and helps us develop His perspective and His character. Update.

There was the usual Bible study in the Community Room at the apartments on Sunday, which is always interesting.  Then on Monday, Joe, my helper/ neighbor and I went to Conroe, to pick up his glasses at America’s Best.  They advertise 2 pairs of glasses and a FREE eye exam for $69.95, and that is what Joe got, BUT not the frames that he had picked out.  He ordered one pair for distance/driving, and one pair for reading, but both pairs had the same frames, not what he wanted.  He had picked one pair with a metal insert on the “wing”, so that he could differentiate between them. But as we live so far away, we didn’t ask for them to be remade.

The next day Joe and I emptied my little upright freezer and put it outside to defrost.  While that was going on we cut the legs shorter on an old wooden drawer cabinet so that it would fit under, and help hold up, a long cabinet that I had put in my bedroom.  So that enabled me to empty and get rid of two more plastic chest of drawers.  I had given away all my saws except an old jigsaw, so we had to use that.  With the sun shining on it, it didn’t take long for the freezer to defrost, it didn’t make a mess in the kitchen, and the grass welcomed the water.

Sheila, a resident here at the apartments, offered to go with me to Brenham because she knows how scared I am of getting lost in this new area, and she knows the way.  Brenham’s Social Security and Drivers License offices are not crowded like the other places.  The SS office copied my papers and said that they would fax them to the Bryan office, because they were handling my claim.  So I might have to try to find my way to the Bryan office again.  Joe passed the eye test, and then missed the written test by one point!  He later got his nephew to take him to Bryan and passed, so he will have his road test on the 11th.

While we were there in Brenham we went to the HEB store and I bought a lot of veggies, including a spaghetti squash.  Sheila had never had any, so I cooked it and invited her over to eat some.  We couldn’t decide which topping to make, so just had garlic butter on it.  She liked it and said she would make it for her son who needs to eat more veggies and less pasta.

The apartment handyman installed a new faucet at my kitchen sink, now I can have hot water again.  The one he took out was very old and all clogged up by the hard water. 

My dear friend DD of Conroe, http://dizzydick.blogspot.com/ , lost his wife of over 50 years this week, and prayers go out to him for adjusting to his new life without her.  Tragedy seems to happen to us all at some time or another, and we just have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and carry on because they would want us to be happy.   Yes, you miss them terribly, but life goes on, and there are other relatives to focus on, and life is good even on your own.  We should be grateful that we had them in our life and that we are still on this side of the grass.  The sudden or untimely death of a loved one—is there anything that rocks human emotions more? Still with a big block of cheese, I took more Nacho Cheese Dip to the church potluck, and also more Cheese Chipotle Salad, both are very popular there. The Bible study is still in Nehemiah, about the covenant, and the theme this week was “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me” Phil. 4:13. God’s Word given by our pastor was “Remember”.  Remember to keep his Commandments.  Do not forget the Sabbath.  Don’t be proud of where you are now, lest you forget where you came from. Remember the LORD your God as it is He who gives you power to get wealth…. you get the idea.

We still have see-saw weather.  First it’s the furnace getting a workout, then the AC the next day.

Pack along a small fan in your RV that can operate on 12-volt power. “It will come in handy on a hot day when you simply need to cool yourself and don't have the power to run your air conditioner, or don't want to. Awning tube bent. What to do?

Dear Gary,
“Is it possible to straighten an awning tube? If so, how?” —Steve D., Neola, Iowa

“Love those "to the point" questions Steve! To my knowledge, there is no method in the aftermarket of straightening a bent, extruded aluminum awning roller tube. Some can be manipulated somewhat, but will always show evidence of the damage.

In order for the canopy fabric to remain straight and roll up square and evenly, unfortunately, the tube will need to be replaced. I’m sure re-extruding the tube could make it like new, but a new replacement tube would certainly be less expensive than trying to find a way to make that happen! Wish I had better news for you, but I'd recommend a new roller tube.”  Posted by RV Doctor

Use self-fusing tape for weatherproof connections

“Standard vinyl electrical tape has been around for a long time — too long, some would say. The problem with this commonly used product is its adhesive. It doesn't really stick very well, and after awhile it starts to peel loose, leaving a gooey mess behind.

Some years ago, a worthy alternative appeared — a silicone rubber tape that was self-fusing. It bonded to itself with enthusiasm, and had no adhesive to age or create a mess. Furthermore, it was impervious to many chemicals, ozone and UV, which age and deteriorate lesser products.

Recently, this self-vulcanizing tape has seen a surge in popularity. It's now sold in many colors and widths, all at affordable prices (although much more expensive than its cheaper brother). Sold by everyone from Ace Hardware to Amazon, a 1" x 12' roll runs about $10-$14, and 2" x 36' will set you back $40.

You apply the tape by peeling off its backing (being careful not to let it touch itself — it bonds instantly). Wrap the tape around the object to be covered, and make the first wrap go over itself. Then stretch the tape in the direction you want and continue wrapping. It's easiest to cut off a piece in advance rather than applying it from the roll. A little experience will show you how much to use, and it takes very little: Two to three inches will weatherproof most electrical joints.

Notice that the tape doesn't actually stick to anything but itself. This means that it's easy to remove, but it also means that it can't be used for any application that requires a sticky seal. The best way to think of this "tool" is as a rubber-molding process. Once the tape is applied and wrapped around the object, it is literally as if the object were cast inside a mold. In fact, I've cut open 5-year-old wrappings and they still looked as if they were just one solid piece of rubber.

Due to its stretchy nature, the tape is fabulously conforming. It will create a solid rubber sleeve around the most odd-shaped joints and other objects. In addition to electrical, the tape can be used for any purpose where a rubber coating is desired. For example, my flagpole gave up its rattle after I rubber-taped the base. On This Day:

Nero's Rome burns, Jul 18, 64:

“The great fire of Rome breaks out and destroys much of the city on this day in the year 64. Despite the well-known stories, there is no evidence that the Roman emperor, Nero, either started the fire or played the fiddle while it burned. Still, he did use the disaster to further his political agenda.

The fire began in the slums of a district south of the legendary Palatine Hill. The area's homes burned very quickly and the fire spread north, fueled by high winds. During the chaos of the fire, there were reports of heavy looting. The fire ended up raging out of control for nearly three days. Three of Rome's 14 districts were completely wiped out; only four were untouched by the tremendous conflagration. Hundreds of people died in the fire and many thousands were left homeless.

Although popular legend holds that Emperor Nero fiddled while the city burned, this account is wrong on several accounts. First, the fiddle did not even exist at the time. Instead, Nero was well known for his talent on the lyre; he often composed his own music. More importantly, Nero was actually 35 miles away in Antium when the fire broke out. In fact, he let his palace be used as a shelter.

Legend has long blamed Nero for a couple of reasons. Nero did not like the aesthetics of the city and used the devastation of the fire in order to change much of it and institute new building codes throughout the city. Nero also used the fire to clamp down on the growing influence of Christians in Rome. He arrested, tortured and executed hundreds of Christians on the pretext that they had something to do with the fire.”

Singing Wobbly Joe Hill sentenced to death, Jul 18, 1914:

“Convicted of murder on meager evidence, the singing Wobbly Joe Hill is sentenced to be executed in Utah.

A native of Sweden who immigrated to the U.S. in 1879, Joe Hill joined the International Workers of the World (IWW) in 1910. The IWW was an industrial union that rejected the capitalist system and dreamed one day of leading a national workers' revolution. Members of the IWW--known as Wobblies--were especially active in the western United States, where they enjoyed considerable success in organizing mistreated and exploited workers in the mining, logging, and shipping industries.

Beginning in 1908, the IWW began encouraging its membership to express their beliefs through song. The IWW published its Little Red Song Book, otherwise known as the I.W.W. Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent. A few years later, the witty and handsome Joe Hill became one of the Wobblies' leading singers and songwriters. Hill composed many of the IWW's best-loved anthems, including "The Preacher of the Slave" which introduced the phrase "pie in the sky." By 1915, Hill was one of the most famous Wobblies in the nation.

Public notoriety, however, could prove dangerous for a radical union man. In 1915, Hill was arrested and charged with murdering two Salt Lake City policemen during a grocery store robbery. Although the evidence against Hill was tenuous, a jury of conservative Utahans convicted him on this day in 1914 and he was sentenced to death. He was executed by firing squad the following year.

Ever since, scholars have debated whether Hill was actually guilty or was railroaded because of his radical politics. Regardless of his guilt or innocence, Hill became a powerful martyr for the IWW cause by telegramming his comrades with a famous last-minute message: "Don't waste any time in mourning. Organize."”

Yesterday:

Misty and I went to get Jay for shopping day, and we had a good walk down there.  An armadillo went by across the street, and even though Misty couldn’t see it, she knew it was there and was pulling at the leash trying to follow it like a little bloodhound.

The van was full of stuff that needed to be dropped off at different places.  Big pieces of Styrofoam were dropped off at the community dumpster.  Plastic bags went either to the recycling, or useable ones donated to thrift shops.  We stopped at St. Marks and recycled the paper, and looked in their thrift shop.  Neither of us saw anything we wanted there.

The Unique Thrift shop was having a clearance sale, I didn’t buy anything, but Jay bought two pair of comfy boots, very cheap.  Then we went to Angelic thrift shop and donated some items.  We did buy a few things in their shop.  At Home Depot I bought a different brand of door bell, maybe this this one will work.  I also bought some white spray paint that works on vinyl, so I am hoping it will cover the sunburn marks on my white siding.

Once again, we didn’t stop at a grocery store as we were running out of time. Jay had to go shopping with his mother, and I was expecting the contractor.

In the afternoon the contractor and his helper leveled, plumbed and cemented in the corner post that we had torn my screen porch apart to install.  He is going to be building my front porch extension from that, so I knew he would rather do it himself. 

Now we can put the screen porch back together today.

This first example shows the 3rd week of 2001 and we also know the plant code is W2

 

 

This example has 39th week of 2008 with the manufacturing code of 8x

 

 

 

This example on the left is 41st week of 1994 or possibly 41st week of 1984. This is a good example of why the date code was changed to four digits.

and below we have an example of 37th week 1998 on the left and 7th week 2009 on the right.

 

 

Do not confuse the fact that the 6E7378 ends with four numbers as there is no 73rd week of the year 2078.

Wacky coin toss walk

“Most kids resist going on walks under the guise of being bored. Add some interest to an ordinary walk around the campground by letting a coin determine where you’ll end up. Campgrounds make an ideal place to try this activity since there are so many paths and roads. Just remember not to walk through any campsites! Start at your RV campsite by having a child toss a coin. “Heads” means you start walking and turn left. “Tails” means you head to the right.
Walk in the direction indicated on the coin until the next cross street or trail. Again, flip the coin to see which direction you’ll go. You may be surprised where you end up! Let kids take turns flipping the coin. Watch what happens when you are at a cross street and a “Tails” gets you to turn into the campground snack bar featuring ice cream.

As you walk, take time to explore. Point out various styles of RV’s. Check out the colored maps some people have on their RV depicting states they have visited. I Need a Complete New Water Assembly

“I am wondering if there is a replacement backflow valve for the city water hookup. It looks like I will have to spend $60 to replace the entire hatch for the freshwater city and tank fill. Any suggestions?” Rick M., (Baldwin, WI)

“Rick, I've got some good news for you. If all you have is a faulty backflow preventer (check valve) in the existing city water assembly, simply install a second backflow preventer just downstream of the city water entry. This only applies if the fault is that the existing check valve will not close properly. The symptom would be that water exits the city water entry when the coach is on pump pressure. But there’s no need to remove a check valve that won’t close. Just install a second one inline and just downstream of the first one. Now if it is stuck shut, then yes, that old one will have to come out. First tank produced, Sep 6, 1915:

“On this day in 1915, a prototype tank nicknamed Little Willie rolls off the assembly line in England. Little Willie was far from an overnight success. It weighed 14 tons, got stuck in trenches and crawled over rough terrain at only two miles per hour. However, improvements were made to the original prototype and tanks eventually transformed military battlefields.

The British developed the tank in response to the trench warfare of World War I. In 1914, a British army colonel named Ernest Swinton and William Hankey, secretary of the Committee for Imperial Defence, championed the idea of an armored vehicle with conveyor-belt-like tracks over its wheels that could break through enemy lines and traverse difficult territory. The men appealed to British navy minister Winston Churchill, who believed in the concept of a "land boat" and organized a Landships Committee to begin developing a prototype. Yesterday:

Jay didn’t call me to ask me “You on schedule?”, and as it was shopping day, that surprised me, so called his cell.  He said he was in Houston!  That meant I could get ready at slower pace.  I didn’t leave here until 10.00 AM, and I went straight to a government office to turn in some paperwork.  I really wanted them to check it and see if I had filled it out correctly, so I took a number, and I was there for an hour.  Not too bad for a walk-in, I suppose.

I had some things to take back, and needed to buy some transmission fluid, and oil at Walmart.  That wouldn’t have taken very long, except I decided to have the prescription for my new glasses filled while I was there. 

After a lot of decision making, I ordered wrap-around red frames with no-line bifocal, tinted and polarized lenses for day driving.  I only use my bifocals for driving, so I keep them in the van.  The glare of the sun really hurts my eyes, so these should be a lot better.   Usually, I have to take my prescription glasses off to back up, as the frames get in my peripheral vision, but I can’t see the frames on these.  My insurance paid for all but $25. My present glasses just have tint at the top, which has faded, so I can use them if I ever drive at night.

Stupidly, I bought some “natural” creamer there, and when arrived home, I looked up the ingredients.  It isn’t natural at all, and even has some carcinogens in it.

By the time I had shopped at Petsmart it was time to get home for a late lunch, and to let Misty out, so I didn’t even go to a thrift shop or grocery store yesterday.

" A massive propane recall was launched today after it was discovered some of the fuel did not contain the substance normally injected that would allow people to smell a leak, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
The government warned of the risk of explosion.
The fuel was distributed by Aux Sable Liquid Products -- an Illinois-based company that distributed the fuel to 14 states in the East and South. The CPSC could not estimate how many consumers might already have the affected fuel, but said it was enough to fill 70 railroad tanker cars and was sold between February and September of last year.
The fuel was sold to consumers under a variety of brands in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia.

IKEA Recalls 'RUND' Glass Mugs After Incidents.

IKEA is recalling about 128,000 of its "RUND" clear glass mugs after a dozen incidents of them shattering while being used, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
About 13,000 of the mugs were sold at IKEA stores across the U.S. and another 3,000 were purchased in Canada. The rest were sold in other countries.
One person was injured and required medical attention, the CPSC said. Another 11 incidents were reported outside the U.S., including four resulting in injuries.
The Chinese-made mugs were sold from October 2009 through March 2010 for $5 to $10, the CPSC said.
The glasses are double-walled and were sold in two-packs of the following sizes: 4cl, 21cl and 40cl.

Today was "Mock-Up" Day in the cargo trailer:


We balanced the future counter top up on some 2x2s, just to see how everything would fit.
We had wanted to put the water tank up in the front corner, but the purchase of the little fridge stopped all that, as it will only fit in that corner. 
The sink has to have drain and water plumbed under it, and there is not enough room for the fridge, if the tank stays there.






If the fridge is on either side of the sink it will not be able to breathe, and would have it's coils right up against the paneling.
In the corner, it can breathe, and the drain for the sink can go behind it.







So the water tank will have to be moved over on top of the wheel well, which will be under the dinette bench.  So we will have to build a sturdy base for it.

It will mean a longer run for the water, water pump, filler hose and vent, but that is the way it has to be.


We were cold, and our hands would hardly work, but this had to be figured out.  Fortunately, the wind had died down.

It was only 32° and the sun didn't come out until noon, our quitting time for the day.

My views:

Even a calf and it's mother deserve to be treated properly, even if they are in a slaughter house waiting to be made into veal cutlets and hamburgers!

I was married to someone who loved to torture and mistreat animals, and it didn't stop there.  I was beaten and judo chopped to near death.  I felt so helpless, with nowhere to go, but I managed to get out of that situation before he hurt my little daughter.  These cattle can't get away from their torturers.

Even if you have never encountered cruelty like that, please feel for these animals, and help get this stopped.

Today:

Ray and I moved the dining room table from underneath the pass-through going into the kitchen, sanded and painted the wall and baseboards. 

He handed me the crystal glasses off the shelf so I could wash them.  We did get that wall and one to the right of it done, but the whole place is still in an upheaval, as we haven't put the table or chairs back yet.

Neither Ray nor Jay were going to be here today.

This gave me the opportunity to do things that I had been putting off.  These two errands needed to be done when I didn’t have Jay with me.

One was an eye test. I called around to see when I could be seen, and all I got were answering machines to leave a message, or recordings saying that they were busy, and to call back.  I guess the ophthalmologists have cut corners and don’t have receptionists any more.

I called Conroe Outlet’s “L’Eggs, Bali, Playtex” store to make sure they are still there.  That Outlet really has had a lot of stores close down.  Since I got this computer, I have put on weight, so I wanted their fitting lady to measure me to make sure that I still needed the same size. I went there first, as it is on the way into Conroe.   So after trying on some different styles, I came out with ‘Buy Three, Get One Free’ of the same style and size that I had before.

I am ashamed to say that the last time I got an eye exam was several years ago.   They must have had receptionists then, as I was able to call around and find out the different prices and services.  That time I went to Sam’s Club.  This time I stopped at WalMart, and I could be seen in about an hour. 

I walked, (trying to get exercise) to Sam’s Club to see what they offered.  She could see me right away, as someone was cancelling on the phone as I walked in.  We tried to leave a message at WalMart to let them know I wouldn’t be keeping my appointment, but got a machine saying to call back!! 

At Sam’s she did a very thorough exam, more than I had there last time, and even did the dilating thing to look and see what problems I might have.  She said I was starting to have cataracts, but nothing that needed attention.  She said not to get on the computer until at least 3.00 PM, and gave me some little shades to slip behind my glasses to go back out into the sun, as my eyes were still dilated.

 
I stopped at the WalMart one, to make sure they got the message that I tried to leave them on that  machine that didn’t take messages.  All it gave her was my name, but she figured out that I was not coming.  She also told me that it would have cost me $20 more to have had the dilation done there.  So I did good! 


I only wear my prescription bifocal glasses when I am driving.  I have them made with 100% UV, and tint at the top. Last time I got them made at WalMart, but this time I might try: http://www.zennioptical.com/home.php  (*)
