I have spent just about most of the day trying to make the wireless work on my laptop. I have been in touch with a sand-in-his-shoes "Router Guy", the nice "AOL gal", back to another unintelligible "Router Guy", but the wireless disconnects as soon as I try to sign on, or go to Internet Explorer. Not knowing enough about it, I don't know if it is the router, laptop, or me that is at fault.
Probably me!!
Once these cats are adopted, I hope to take my next new-to-me RV on some trips.
There is a lot to see in TX. You can order a free big book about TX from the Tourism Dept. A new one is published once a year. http://www.traveltex.com/travelguide/OrderForm.aspx?c=4
It divides up the areas, and the seven different types of terrain in TX:
1) Big Bend Country, 2) Hill Country, 3) The Gulf Coast,
4) Panhandle Plains, 5) Piney Woods, 6) Prairies and Lakes, 7) South Texas Plains.
The site even has a trip planner. http://www.traveltex.com/CitiesAndRegions.aspx

Some of the popular cities: San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Galveston, South Padre Island, Corpus Christi, Fredericksburg, El Paso. I am fortunate to have been to all of them, but it is the places in between, that I would like to see!
My pile of junk mail needed attention. I tear my name and address off each piece, and shred it, then the rest goes in the Paper Recycling bag. I am on the “Do Not Send” list, but I still get junk mail.
A wasted, frustrating day!

Hi Penny
Not a wasted day. Got you in the mood to do a little traveling, thinking about your state and remind people of all the beautiful places in Texas.
Yes we watch It's Me or The Dog, I watch it as much as possible.I went to the library to see if they had her books. No they didn't, but the man said they were books the library could use so he is ordering them. I have tried many good ideas from the show. While I love the boys-sometimes I feel like "The Wizard In The Land of the Misfit Dogs".Penny do you read the comments before they are posted? I would love to send you a short story ( if that is OK) on Barks adoption, but don't want to take up space on your blog.It might give you a smile!
Hi Mom of Bark + Bite,
Yes, I do moderate the comments, that is why they don't show up until, I have read them.

Finding My Bark
Short story-Adopting Bark--Found the listing on Pet Finder one night. They had just receive him at the Humane Society. The listing came up no picture no name. Just Lhasa Apso. They were 50+ miles from me. I call the next day at 2 when they open, they did have him. I drove over there-fast. I went in, a young girl was up front. I would like to see the Lhasa Apso dog you have ---Girl-"Uhhh,wel-l-l-l a man just call and said he was coming to see him. Me- happy, smiling. "I called and I am here, and would like to meet him. Girl-" We-l-l-l yes-ss. But he said he would come. Still with some smile (after all I am southern) (thinking you twit, is the mildest thing I can write here) I said to her I AM HERE NOW! THERE IS NO ONE ELSE HERE NOW! HE MAY NEVER COME! IF THE DOG IS HERE FOR ADOPTION "I" AM GOING TO SEE HIM NOW!!!!!!!!! (LOL) Old southern women can be a real problem when aggravated. Her-"OK (unhappy) I guess you can go to the back and see him". (So nice of her, She "GUESS" I can go back, please brain control my mouth!!) I walked down the hall, they let him out side in a little fence area. I walk around the corner, I look him in the eyes, he looked at me, I step toward him, he step toward me,we both knew. I picked him up and announce to the man behind us and then step inside and told two more ladies, HE IS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We both knew we were made for each other.Love at first sight!!!!!
Just to fill in any blanks we were middle class plain old working people,(LOL) thanks to a 401k we are just holding on people. My age 65 with 4 children and 5 grandchildren. I have been in N.C. all my life and love it. But Texas has looked good to me lately. We are trying to buy a Class C motorhome. As you say one that is new to us. You can't find anything within 300 miles of here. When I search I can always find something in Texas, Florida,New Mexico and so on.Snowbird country. Not here.I have read your blog late for the past few weeks. Every night I am searching all sites for motorhomes. There is a long story and a little sad on Sam (aka) Bite.I won't take your time with that. Enjoy your blog Penny.
Hi Mom of Bark and Bite.
This was the only way I knew to get this info to you.
Here is a good site to look for a Class C:
http://www.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/mash.cgi?cat=cprv&itm=lazy+daze&loc=&fil=&ys=&ye=&ps=&pe=&pgs=50&submit=++++go++++
I put it on the Lazy Daze brand, and they are really good Class Cs. That is all they make, and have been in business longer than Winnebago. You can change the brand, location, and the price range.
I hope you find what you are looking for.
Nice story about the adoption. Thanks. Happy Trails, Penny, X
