2 sets of Rules for Tarmac parking:
Industry-sanctioned Code of Conduct
(RVers’ Good Neighbor Policy)
1. Stay one night only!
2. Obtain permission from a qualified individual.
3. Obey posted regulations.
4. No awnings, chairs, or barbecue grills.
5. Do not use hydraulic jacks on soft surfaces (including asphalt).
6. Always leave an area cleaner than you found it.
7. Purchase gas, food, or supplies as a form of thank you, when feasible.
8. Be safe! Always be aware of your surroundings and leave if you feel unsafe.

Then, the other one:

The ten commandments of overnight parking.
Thou shall always ask for permission.
Thou shall only stay one night.
Thou shall not put out the slides.
Thou shall not extend the awning.
Thou shall not try to level thy RV.
Thou shall buy from the supplier of the free parking.
Thou shall pick up garbage and collect the carts.
Thou shall go to bed early and make no noise.
Thou shall get up at dawn and promptly leave.
Thou shall.... good grief I'm not going to do all that for a lousy free night.
I'm going to a camp ground and enjoy my life on the road!!

Ray and I worked on getting the last of my kitchen counter tops Formica-ed this morning.   While I have been waiting to get this done, a revolving spice chart that was my grandmothers, had fallen down the side against the wall.  I wanted to get it out of there before everything was finished.  We still haven’t found all the screws to get that cupboard out! So I have my whole kitchen cluttered with everything out of there.  Maybe we can finish it in the morning.

cat-says-your-disease-is-incurable (Small) I was carrying Patches from the porch to the dog room when she spotted Ray at the door.  She is absolutely petrified of men, and she does not like to be carried.  I was going to put her in her open cage to go to Adoption Day, she is quite alright with that, but we never got that far.
When she saw Ray, she frantically struggled to be put down, and got me on the right hand and forehead. Then she hid behind the kennel cages, which is what she does anytime there is a man in the house.  Ray helped get the large and small Band-Aids out of their shells, so I wouldn’t bleed all over everything.

So I left her at home, and just took Prime.
cat-dog-Where didyou hear a joke (Small) While I was there, a lady wanted to see another foster cat named Helga.  Now Helga is the sweetest cat, and the only one that we will get out of the display cage.  I had already had her out for another lady to hold her.  The second time, Helga got ballistic, bit and scratched my already hurt hand.  Then I realized that I had been petting all the SPCA dogs there, but I hadn’t used the hand cleaner.  So I guess that is what set her off.  Helga had never done that to me before.

Now my right hand is all swollen and hurts, as it got injured twice in one day.

Hi Donna.
Thank you for your comment.
I doused it with peroxide after Patches did it, and hand sanitzer after the incident with Helga.
As soon as I got home, I doused it with antiseptic and bandaged it. So I am going around left handed.
Yes, I know about Cat Scratch Fever, so I am doing all I can to avoid it.
Thank you again, Happy Trails, Penny, TX

Wow, it looks like you had quite a day with the feline species,Sam has always been a dog guy and once when we agreed to babysit Donna's moms cat while they were out of town Sam decided he would make up to Bootsy, well you know cats after being held and petted and rubbing against his leg for awhile she showed her affection by biting his hand and then running off and hiding in the closet for the rest of the weekend, Needless to say no more cats for Sam. Take care of those wounds, Sam & Donna..
