Hydroxycut® Recalled. Got A Cold?. More Yard Sale.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers to immediately stop using Hydroxycut products by Iovate Health Sciences Inc. According to the FDA advisory, some Hydroxycut products are associated with serious liver injuries. Iovate has agreed to recall Hydroxycut products from the market.

There is always some inherent danger in relying on pills to lose weight.
So if you know someone using this, please let them know about this recall.

(Personally I don’t trust any of the chemicals that they are hyping for weight loss, or a lot of other illnesses either).

Jacob Teitelbaum, MD, an internal medicine specialist and author, notes that you should avoid foods that are high in sugar because they can decrease your immunity. "The sugar in a can of soda suppresses immune function by 30 percent for three hours," Dr. Teitelbaum says. "Avoid excess milk products if you are stuffy. Milk protein thickens mucous and makes it harder to drain." Water, on the other hand, will help keep mucus thin and easier to clear.

I had the yard sale again today, in lovely weather.  Quite a few customers, lots more ‘junque’ and ‘anteekes’ sold, plus a couple of wooden tables.  Good, we won’t have to carry them in each night, now!  But you can’t even see that a lot has been sold off the 16 sale tables.  Way too much stuff!

But tomorrow will a different story, as the forecast is 90% chance of thunderstorms.  So I have covered everything up really well, just in case.  Sunday and Monday will be nice again, and that is when we will be sorting it all out to go to the different charities.

My feet were happy to get into slippers after such a busy day.
