John Denver dies in an aircraft accident, Oct 12, 1997:

At approximately 5:30 pm local time, after a smooth takeoff from a Pacific Grove airfield and under ideal flying conditions, Denver apparently lost control of his Long-EZ aircraft several hundred feet over Monterey Bay, leading to the fatal crash.”

Yesterday:
The little kitten is still fussy, and takes a while to settle down after her bottle. All her plumbing is working right, but she is just a ‘colicky’ baby. I tried to give her a little baby cereal and quality canned kitten food, but she just isn’t old enough. I thought maybe the KMR wasn’t enough to satisfy her. I will be glad when she grows a bit and hopefully gets over this.
Jay still owes me some time, so Misty and I went to get him, so she could have her walk around there while he finished getting ready.
Jay went up in my attic and brought down my big 220v. space heater, so we could figure out where to put it. This desk we temporarily built, is right where the heater needs to go. That is one of the reasons that we never finished the desk. I like it right in front of the patio door that goes to the front screen porch, as I can watch the bird feeder. I don’t like the idea of using a 220v. extension cord, but it might come down to that. Or I may have to move one desktop back into the bedroom, and use my small computer desk in front of the patio door.

I have some mini-blinds up in my attic, and we could make them, but I just don’t think they would look nice from the outside, when they are down. If I line them, it might make them too bulky. The light over the sink is the only one that would have to be moved out from the window to accommodate the width of the blind. Decisions, decisions!
Jay went up on the roof to get some of the pine needles that had accumulated in the gutters. He is going to bring a blower today.
