AC in Coronado. Fishing Expedition. Be Safe

It was going to be another hot one. I thought the cats might like to be on the porch early this morning, and again, they declined. So I closed the house up again at 8.00 AM, and let them watch the world out of the windows at the back, north side, of the house.
Ray gave us a hand when we needed it, but he was mostly finishing the stripping of the back door. We want to get the locks back on the doors.
The main objective for the day was to get the AC in the hole in the Coronado.
But there was still framing to be done. We put the AC on a little table inside, so that it was handy for measuring. We added a 2x4 across the top of the hole, for the top stop of the AC to rest against. It runs across the width of the trailer, behind the furring strips, for strength. We didn't cut this hole for the AC, it was like that when I got the trailer back. They had installed the AC sloped to the inside, but we put plenty of pitch to the outside, so that it will drain properly now. They hadn't even cut the bottom of the hole straight, so that had to be cut level. Just lots of little jobs to do.
Finally it was in the hole, and we were so hot and tired, that we didn't even plug it in. Just rolled up the tools.

All of you are getting ready for the 4th. Here is how to carry your 'Pigs in a Blanket' to the family BBQ. Also remind them not to smoke indoors!

This father and son are going in an RV to fish in 50 states in 50 days!
That must be an awfully tight, tiring schedule. They are just going to be whizzing through each state, and hardly have time to relax and enjoy the fishing!
http://www.fish5050.com/index.html I would prefer 50 fishing holes in 5 states, in 50 days!

The "Weekend Warriers" are coming in this lake subdivision in droves, for the holiday. Bringing their boats, RVs, and boomboxes. Then they speed on our little winding roads, I hope no one gets hurt. When I went over the I-45 freeway to go to the RV store to pick up an order, the traffic was already stacking up both ways. This is one time I don't want to be on the road.

Have a safe day.
