First I'd like to thank you all for your good wishes on Blogger and Facebook.
Been busy trying to get my bank account and pensions straightened out. When my daughter found out about the break-in, she froze all the accounts, so I am gradually getting that all straightened out.
They not only took the $120 that I had saved for the work on the Puddle Jumper's exhaust, but also my wedding and engagement rings, and other stuff.
They used my Visa credit card, which was video-taped, so my son asked the stores to save the tapes and forged receipts. But the police have to have a subpoena to get them from the stores, and that takes time.
Very nerve-wracking to know who did it, someone in my subdivision, but can't do anything about it.
Happy Trails and Tails, Penny.

Penny, first of all I am so glad you are back and recuperating well. To come home to find your house has been violated must have been awful. I just hope the police will keep at it and eventually bring the guilty party/parties to justice.
Glad you are home but it sure is a bummer to find your home broken into and robbed. Hope you can recover the things that are dear to you.
Holy Cow, that's awful! Try not to get too stressed about it. Take deep breaths and just work on recuperating. So sorry...

Thank you all for your wishes.
The break-in happened the day I had my surgery. My daughter Wendy, and Ray kept it from me for a few days.
The burglars must have known that everyone was at the hospital, and so that's when they did it.
Sorry sods!!
Happy Tails and Trails, Penny.
Sorry Penny. If it is not one situation, it is another. You will triumph over it all! You are a mighty strong warrior.
