USPS’s E-MAIL!! Seahenge.

Postal Service's Proposal for 5-Day Delivery in the Mail……

“Notably, the proposal was sent to the Postal Regulatory Commission via e-mail!!!

(March 30) -- Saturday "snail mail" is one step closer to going the way of the carrier pigeon.
The U.S. Postal Service submitted its "five-day delivery" proposal to regulators today, moving to scrap Saturday mail delivery in an effort to shave $3.1 billion annually from the $238 billion in losses the agency estimates by 2020.”

“Many people are familiar with Stonehenge, the collection of ancient, 25- to 50-ton stones arranged in a circle in the English countryside.
But less well known is its equally mysterious aquatic counterpart, Seahenge, discovered in 1998 off the coast of Norfolk, England.

Seahenge gives up its secrets:

Timber circle was gateway to the after-life.

A circle of waterlogged wooden posts found on a remote beach in Norfolk, England, is transforming our knowledge of Bronze Age culture 4,000 years ago.”  More at: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/388988.stm

This morning, Ray painted the back side of the rest of the fence posts.
Jay and I loaded up cordless drills, cordless saw, screws, hammer, and pry bar in my little black wagon, and rolled it to the outside of the fence.  We got all of the old boards replaced.  We just have to cut some trim boards when we get the table saw out tomorrow to do another job.

Now, I have to get ready to take Sam's dog into town to the mobile vet, who will be there giving shots today.
