With all the new info about poisonous pesticides in the store-bought food, they would do a booming business now. I have to rely on getting organic produce from Krogers.

I juice because I have had a busted jaw, and can't chew a lot of the veggies.
Sometimes, I just juice one, and drink it, and then juice another, but for me, it is easier to put several veggies in the juicer and drink it.
I try to put "an apple a day" in with my veggies, too, as I can't chew apples.

Happy Trails, PennyLakeConroePenny,TXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00260039376684295639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4550763482629643851.post-32315465931726965372013-05-24T11:24:57.683-05:002013-05-24T11:24:57.683-05:00I have such good access to farmers' markets in...I have such good access to farmers' markets in my area it is easy to buy lots of fresh and organic produce. Many growers tell me that they practice organic farming, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers, but that the cost to be certified organic is huge. All the paperwork would require an extra employee to handle it, and many small farmers can't afford to do that. I'm very careful of what I buy and who I buy it from. As for juicing, I know that is a big thing and highly recommended, however, you really lose the pleasure of the individual tastes and textures of what you are blending up. I prefer to chew my food and savor it rather than drink it from a glass.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.com
