Out Of Hospital For Four Weeks Now.

Hi Y'all,

The last four weeks have been nurses, and case workers coming to see me, and the lady who helps me bathe and wash my hair, and trips to the different doctors, and watching TV.  That's about it.

Even though I cannot drive yet, I have been to church three times.  Ray went with me once, Jay's mother drove Jay and me there another Sabbath, and I drove last week, but couldn't drive home.  For the first time I couldn't stand for the hymns.  Fortunately Ray was with me and drove me home.

Now I have to have blood tests as the cardiologist thinks that one of the prescribed meds might have damaged me, as I don't have as much get up and go as I did when I first got out of the hospital.  How I hate Big Pharma!!

For me, this computer still doesn't have anything interesting in it except emails from my friends, the TV Guide and the weather.  Sadly, I haven't read any blogs or even looked at Facebook, I would rather just rest, which is not like me.

The police still have not arrested the person(s) responsible for the burglary at my house, even though they know who did it.  Their excuse is that there are 30 cases in front of mine!!

I hope all of you are well, and I hope to have better news another day.

Went Around Pawn Shops.

Yesterday, I was feeling a bit stronger, so Ray drove me to all the local pawn shops looking for my wedding/engagement ring.  I had made up some flyers with pictures of my nugget gold and diamond ring, the police report #, etc.  and we left them all over the place.

143-326-0600-Double But the conclusion became obvious, that the burglars had just sold the ring for the gold, and it was melted down. Did you know that when you sell gold to one of those gold buying places they don't even ask to see ID?  How convenient for the robbers!  Pawn shops are strictly governed, so the thieves would be stupid to pawn it.

I am gradually getting stronger, but I can't drive yet, and I get very tired.  I hope I get to feeling like my former self soon.

It was a disappointing day.

House Was Burgled While I Was In The Hospital.

First I'd like to thank you all for your good wishes on Blogger and Facebook.

Been busy trying to get my bank account and pensions straightened out.  When my daughter found out about the break-in, she froze all the accounts, so I am gradually getting that all straightened out.

They not only took the $120 that I had saved for the work on the Puddle Jumper's exhaust, but also my wedding and engagement rings, and other stuff.

They used my Visa credit card, which was video-taped, so my son asked the stores to save the tapes and forged receipts.  But the police have to have a subpoena to get them from the stores, and that takes time.

Very nerve-wracking to know who did it, someone in my subdivision, but can't do anything about it.

Happy Trails and Tails,  Penny.

Sorry, Folks. Been in Hospital.

Started feeling really bad at 9.am on Saturday 18th., and my neighbor took me to Emergency Room.

Seems, I was having a heart attack, and I had to have a triple bypass, and I am still recovering, but home now.

Thank you for all your good wishes.

Happy Tails and Trails, Penny,
